Description

This digital CNC project is designed for makers who want more than a standard flat engraving. The finished project creates a layered forest scene with a deer in the background, trees and branches in the foreground, and optional backlighting for added depth and shadow.
The sample shown was carved at approximately 8″ x 8″ in hardwood. The design may be resized, but all toolpaths should be recalculated after scaling.
The deer project is built as a 3-layer stacked relief:
Base Layer
The back layer contains the deer scene and background carving.
Middle Layer
Adds depth, spacing, and forest detail between the base and front layer.
Top Layer
Creates the front tree, branch, frame, and foreground relief detail.
Lighting is optional. The sample shown includes light installed near the upper left area, but no light-hole vector is included. The maker can choose the light location based on their preferred look and hardware.

Important Notes
This is a digital download only. No physical item will be shipped.
These files are intended for CNC users who understand how to import STL files, create toolpaths, simulate cuts, and safely operate their machine.
Because every CNC setup is different, you are responsible for checking scale, toolpaths, bit selection, feeds, speeds, and machine limits before cutting.
Usage Terms
You may use these files to make and sell finished physical carvings.
You may not resell, share, upload, give away, or redistribute the digital files in any form.
You may not include these files in any other digital file package.
